that's right my lazy, can't run, haven't exercised in forever self joined team in training. me and alice joined together and we are going to do the chicago marathon in oct. more on this to come too! this is partly why i'm so tired!
so far i've been training for about a week and a half and i think i am doing ok... i'm doing the prescribed training (mostly) but still 26 miles seem so very very far away... even 5 miles of straight running seems far away...i'm told we are building right now and it will get easier. i just have to trust them!
here's what my training schedule is supposed to look like:
Mon - 30 mins running
Tues - 45 mins cross training (can do anything this day)
Wed - mid week team workout
Thurs - break
Fri - 30 mins running
Sat - long run
Sun - rest
it's hard to get in so much training! but, i am trying to train myself to become a morning person and get up and work out. i was able to do that 3 times this past week! and i was traveling for work... but that's a whole nother story...

btw, you KNOW i think team in training is great and that i get all the mailers and that my stupid unpredictable schedule has prevented me from making a committment to training. so you're awesome! so exciting!

Lauren Wildberger has been doing team in training for a few years now and has run a few marathons. She loves it and has met all sorts of nice people...she ALMOST talked me into it, but I really really really despise running...even went to a information meeting and didn't sign up!
