me and the birthday boy. it's a terrible pic of me, but it's the only one i have from the day. he was super busy with all things first birthday related.
his adorable cake! unfortunately i didn't get to see him eat it or taste it myself as i had to leave the party early for my dim sum foray. why do all the good fun things happen in one day?!
i had to include elizabeth's friend whose name escapes me - her son has the most amazing curly dark eyelashes i've ever seen. i can't remember his name either (dev has met them too and maybe remembers?!), but how cute is this kid?
this adorable family will soon be expanding - elizabeth just announced she's preggo with #2!!! can't wait to meet the new family member when he/she decides to arrive!

and we were so bummed to be gone during mason's birthday party. his was actually held the weekend BEFORE his birthday -- and we were on vacation!
