feb's stimulus social club raised $4865 for The Goulden Touch- founded by Chicago Bears Kicker Robbie Gould. and i can say that my group was responsible for a portion of that. it was a fun evening... until the end of the night when a jerk made me cry! but more on that later...

sadly, nicole just moved to ohio to switch jobs and save some money since as you can imagine ohio is cheaper than chicago. i'm so sad to see her go! but she promises to come and visit.

now... back to the guy that made me cry. this event happened the night after i came home from a visit in houston. my friends were asking about my dad and that's fine and very sweet of them. then this guy who's asked me out a few times, (but it's just never worked out) and i started to chat. it was going great. then it was the end of the night and we were joking about stuff and then he says "so what would you do if your dad did die??"... i thought for about two seconds and then started sobbing. yes, sobbing. in a bar. wtf?! who asks that that isn't my close friend and who asks that in a bar?! when we're super drunk?! so yeah, that guy is never getting a date. he'll be lucky if he gets a hello...
