ball state review evening

last monday, the 7th i went to the annual ball state review with my aunt and uncle. it was super conveniently located a couple blocks from my house. it is a showcase for their theater seniors and it is organized by a lady who is with steppenwolf theater. there was wine and cheese and then the performance. it lasted just over an hour and i was actually very impressed! they were very talented kids! this performance gives them an opportunity to meet and be seen by various theater casting people and other industry folk. as you guys all know, none of my family went to bsu, but since the family is all from muncie we are big supporters - esp of the arts. my uncle has gotten very involved with the museum which i've got to say is one of the most fabulous university collections. i wouldn't say it's worth the trip to just see it, but if you ever find yourself in muncie (god forbid), check it out! after the review, we went to dinner at mia francesca and enjoyed some more wine (i was already tipsy from 2 glasses! whoops!) and yummy italian food. it was a nice evening!
