8. yes, 8.

last week was the week of kids. i hung out with, snuggled, met, and played with 8 different babies/kids last week. in one week. yep, that's right - eight.

last sat/sun: i met kristoff (9 months) who belongs to laura's sister. and i got to see olivia who is now 8 weeks and belongs to laura and chris.

last mon: i met sammi (10.5 months) who belongs to simon and courtney. and i got to hang out with mason (7 weeks) who belongs to matt and elizabeth.

last thurs: i got to play with graham, nelson, and elliott who belong to marlene and her hubby, ernesto.

and last fri: i got to snuggle with piper (7 wks) who of course belongs to devs and patrick. and as a double dose - i got to see elizabeth and mason again!

i've already blogged about all of them except for my day with the arteta boys! marlene and i took them to the nature center in park ridge (a suburb just north and west of the city). the nature center has super cute back packs for the kids to use that have magnifying glasses, rulers, bug catching thingies, binoculars and other science-y kid friendly things. the nature center also has free fishing poles you can use.

yeah, nope... couldn't get them to stand still long enough to get everyone looking at the right place at the right time... kid photographers must have mad skills... that i clearly don't!

this might be my favorite of all - the boys with marlene. elliott has a ruler in his mouth, graham has a ruler and his mom's camera, and nelson appears to be eating his magnifying glass! such cute stinkers!!!
