date: july 11th (saturday)
on saturday night, devon, kyle and i decided to meet up and go to the brand new bar, roof. roof is a trendy rooftop (hence the name, duh) terrace at the wit hotel. and ok, so the roof wasn't on fire, but that song totally popped in to my head so i used it as my title. and as it got dark there, the fire pit thing was lit and very cool. i'm not sure what time we got there, but i think it was around 630ish. we managed to find stools at a bar like spot and sat in the prized seats (and managed to save kyle one too) until probably 11ish. devon and i got their first and enjoyed a mojito. delicious! then kyle met up and we ate some food and more drinks. the food was small, but yummy. we then moved on to wine. the service was super slow, but the view was awesome. the actual view was very cool, but the people watching was pretty darn amazing. there was such a mix of randoms: the complete douches, the super trendy, the really undressed slutty looking girls, the normal people (like us), and the business types that were probably staying at the hotel. after our drinks at roof, we left and went to bucktown and bin cafe where we had more vino. by the time we left there, i was exhausted and went home... kyle and devs stayed out - you'll have to ask them what happened after i left b/c i wasn't there... if anything happened at all... i don't know how late they ended up being out, but it sure was a fun fun fun girly night!

i had so much fun that night --- it was a perfect night to be out.
as for what we did after you left, i will never tell! ok, fine. we went to tavern, each had half a beer and decided it was the lamest possible crowd ever and left.
