for nye, sam & matt had planned a dinner in town for everyone at el fogon at 8:30pm. they had about 60 guests altogether and we had a bunch of tables in the back of the indoor/outdoor restaurant. there was a set menu and you had a choice of fresh salmon or steak. i picked the steak and omg, it was delicious!! we had more than enough margaritas around the table as well as a few shots of patron... we were so 'that' table in the restaurant. we managed to squeeze 13 people around the table meant for 8 or 10! there was: kurt & anne, me, sarah, ian, aj, preston, dave avocado & his fiance ashley, allen & his wife clara, megan and her bf greg. i'm pretty sure we had about 5000 toasts (perhaps more) for everything from: mexico to aj, to matt & sam, to other people at the table, to nye, to guacamole!

dinner lasted pretty late, but we were finished by midnight and all cheers each other with tequila shots to ring in the new year! it was such a fun way to end one year and begin the next!! once we were all able to find cabs, we headed back to casa las brisas for more drinking, celebrating, cheersing, a game of quarters at our bar and swimming. well, not voluntary swimming... ian picked sarah up and dumped her in the pool complete with her dress and then ian, sarah and preston dragged me in to the pool with them!

sarah's trying to drown ian to get back at him for tossing her in... too bad he's 12x times stronger than she is as she pointed out to me...
noooooooooooooo!!! pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase!!! you'll have to drag the chair in the water with me too!!
aaaaaaaaand they got me in...

i sooooooooooooooooooooo forgot that i showed aj the stretches. my that was a good idea in my dress.
i was playing quarters with the boys until i got bored and decided to do shots with the girls until i got bored and went to talk to ian and then got tossed in the pool.
by the way why am i blamed for you getting tossed in the pool??
