today was really not very pretty out, but boy oh boy was it warm!! 60+ degrees!! i know in ca it really isn't that big of a deal, but i just got back from running errands and had already taken off my shoes and my fleece (which kept me more than warm) and so i ran outside in a shortsleeve shirt and flip flops to retrieve my forgotten item in the car. that's huge! normally i can't go outside without all my layers and scarf and if i'm feeling frisky, i'll leave my gloves off...but just for a quick trip! anyways, had to share the warmth. it's supposed to stay like this for a few days. crazy!
and yes, i do know this is so not normal...

gotta love global warming!
it's just winds from the gulf, it's not global warming! it was zero last week and back to the 30's by the end of this week.
but i guess the global warming thing (hey, that's g.w.) is that slowly there are more warm days. so, ok, maybe it is global warming.
well, then, with much guilt, i had the BEST monday morning in a long time. i woke up and my cold had lifted. i left the house without a huge coat. i wore flats with no socks (i hate socks). it felt like spring. i wasn't cold. i got starbucks and actually contemplated getting my tall nf latte ICED. i was so comfortable. it put me in the best mood. and then at work, i was really productive. and i finally got my bonus. from here, the week can only go downhill. great.

i can't believe you guys live in such cold climate. couldn't do it. to much of a wuss.
