baby olivia is here!

my culver friend, laura, and her hubby, chris, had their first baby and i finally got to meet her on last friday (the 6th). olivia addison campbell was born on july 18th at 2am. she was 6lbs 8oz. she was the first of three babies all born in the same week to friends [piper and mason (who i have not blogged about yet) being the other two].


she's soooo tiny! laura, chris and baby olivia live in this great 90 year old house in valparaiso, IN which is about 1.5 hrs from my house.

momma and baby! we walked to lunch at a place called blackbird. it was so good and super cute! i had a fantastic panini. and then got a croissant and banana bread to go... i'd need a snack for the ride home!

she's gunna be tall! there were so many people who stopped to oooh and ahhh over olivia. i've decided babies and dogs are great for meeting people!!


can you believe we've been friends for 15 years?!?! since '95 - our junior year of high school when we were both new girls at culver!


i stole this one from laura's pics... aren't they a cute family? that's barley - the ginormous 80lb golden retriever who is reluctantly learning that olivia is gunna stay.


and i stole this from laura's pics too... chris was at work while we had lunch! there is something about dad's and their babies that is just way too adorable. L says he comes home every day from work and holds livi like this for a bit while she gets to relax... or shower!
