speed dating...

all i can say is holy moly for right now... but i'll fill you guys in on my very first speed dating night a little later. i will tell you that none of you need to worry about wedding invitations...or even a potential boyfriend's name. it was an interesting experience, but no thank you!!

oh my gosh, this was a crazy crazy event. i did it through my highlife adventures group and i don't need to do this one again. there was no age brackets to start of with so there was a wide array of age ranges. and most of the guys were short. and definitely not my type. but i was in this and i decided to give it a shot. there were probably 35 tables with guys sitting at them and the girls rotated around each and every table every three minutes. the three minutes go by really fast and basically everyone asks the same questions. what do you do - "um, i'm a professional job hunter" what do you like to do in your spare time, how many highlife events have you done, what's your favorite event, etc. one guy told me he was only there for the free open bar. there was a couple of guys from romania that just moved here... i could barely understand them. there were two decently cute guys that i saw potential in, but once i got to talk to them, i was quickly over it. there was zero connection there. at the event of the event you were supposed to mark yes or no to each guy and hand in your sheet. if you had any matches, they would send you eachother's email. i didn't even bother to hand in my sheet and decided to call it a night after it was over. my voice was completely gone and i was tired from so much talking and explaining just exactly what a professional job hunter is... btw, on that front, i am expecting an offer letter by the end of the week!!
