piper + mason

one night elizabeth and i decided to order in some dinner and hang out for the afternoon as well. once devon got off work and picked up the pipes from day care, they came over too! they didn't stay for dinner as piper needed to get her own food and go to bed, but it was so much fun seeing the two babies who are 3 days apart play together!


i've got piper and although it's just my camera being slow, i love that mason looks likes he's flopping his arms he's so excited to see her!


mason was totally smitten with piper right from the start, but piper wasn't so sure about him. love her face in this picture!


so mason thought he'd do the "roll on my back, look cute" move and see if piper would respond. you can see her pony tail in the bottom of the pic.


mason was a machine! he kept pouncing on piper and piper wasn't too thrilled i don't think... too bad this is blurry b/c elizabeth's face is priceless! i'm guessing she was worried that mason might be um a little too physical with the smaller piper.


but then! mason offered to share some of his toys and piper totally accepted.


look how cute their mommies are! i took many of these pictures trying to get a 'good' shot of everyone... yeah, right. this is the best i got!

after we put mason to bed and devon and piper had left, elizabeth and i had some bbq and wine. so fun!
