milk & honey

one of my favorite friends from high school is laura. she lives in valparaiso, in which is about an hour or so away. i see her not as often as i like as we had been busy and it's far-ish and she's married. but, we decided enough was enough last week and we picked a random day to meet up. it happened to be today. she came in to the city and we went to milk & honey on division which i'd been to before, but after today i really love this place! it's so cute and it has an outdoor patio. laura and i sat forever in there and ate and talked and talked some more. i love catching up with her and at one point, we realized that we'd known each other for almost 14 years!! we met our junior year of high school. we were both 'new girls' to the culver class of 1997. as usual, laura gave great advice and loving hugs and it couldn't have been a more perfect day to see an old friend.
